A Fall Adult Dance by One Dance at a Time

Adults (18+) please join us for a fun filled evening of dancing on Sunday, September 14th, 2025, 6-9pm. No prior experience needed.

Maria, assisted by our dance corps, will be teaching group waltz, fox trot, and contra dances in preparation for the Royal Ball. They will be available throughout the evening to help.

As this is our monthly dance before the Royal Ball and we will be reviewing dances for the Ball, teens (aged 15-17) who are registered for the Royal Ball may attend if accompanied by their parent(s).

Please read the following important details:

Our venue has changed: Fr. Dan and the St. Dennis community have graciously agreed to allow us to host our dances in the school’s gym. It is a gym floor so we kindly ask that ladies refrain from wearing high healed shoes.

This will be a dry event. We kindly ask that alcohol not be brought on church grounds, this includes alcohol not being kept in cars in the parking lot. As this is not a drinking establishment with it’s own licensing and bar tender, having alcohol present increases the liability for the parish and for us. It would also greatly increase the cost of holding each dance as we would have to apply for a liquor license as well as additional insurance through the diocese. We have worked very hard to forge a good relationship with Fr. Dan and the parish community, who does not normally rent to outside organizations, and we want to insure that we can continue to host dances so we kindly ask everyone’s understanding and cooperation.

You are welcome to bring food for yourself or snacks to share. This is not required but we have that flexibility now that we aren’t at a restaurant so please feel free. If you plan to bring something to share, please be mindful of those with food allergies and label your treats accordingly: contains nuts, gluten free, dairy free, etc.

We will provide light snacks, water and punch.

Attire: While this is not a formal event we are trying to restore the culture and bring back class and decorum so we kindly ask everyone to please respect the following request.

Please NO shorts, jeans, t-shirts, or exercise clothes!

Gentlemen: Suits are welcome but it does get hot so please feel free to wear “Dockers” type pants or dress pants with a “Polo” type shirt or button down shirt.

Ladies: Please refrain from wearing skin tight, see-through, low cut or super short clothing items. Skirts and dresses should be just below the knee at a minimum. Please also be sure to wear shorts under your modest skirts and dresses. Slits on skirts and dresses should not be above the knee.

If you are bringing guests please be sure to communicate this to them, we don’t want anyone feeling embarrassed for not being dressed appropriately.

Cover Charge: Cash is preferred but we can also accept payment via Zelle which can be sent to Mrs. Garcia via 817-751-0654.
